Seeing error "No locations available for this quantity"

Unable to book in any stock for any receipt Not able to complete any Pre-receipts Nobody can book in stock

Overview

This message would appear due to the Putaway rule set on either the Product, Customer or Site.
Either the Putaway rules need to be changed for your requirements, or the correct rule needs to be chosen/tested.


To check this, go to the Setup tab at the top of Delta

  1. Open Product Details and select Maintain Products

  2. Open the product in question

  3. On the left, click on Location Details and select the Putaway option

  4. On the right, this will show you the Putaway Location Area

  5. Open the Warehouse Map

  6. Open that Location

  7. Check how many pallets (if any), items, and total weight in currently in there

  8. Then select the Rules tab on the location

  9. Check the Max pallets, Max items, and Max Weight sections

If any of these are under the current stock amount in the location, the system will see this location as full and will not allow the RF user to put any more stock in here.

If this Putaway rule has not changed and the issue is affecting all receipts waiting to be booked in, please raise a new case with support and reference this article.
