Overview
To set up a product or even an account to have a default putaway location, you will need to create a putaway area, then attach this area to the product or the account.

To set up a putaway area:
On the Setup tab of Delta.
Select Maintain Area.
Set the Site.
Enter what you want the area to be called.
It will say 'Create a new one?' Say 'Yes'.
In the Area Type Code, enter: PUTAWAY.
Go to the Location tab.
Press +.
Enter the Start location. If this is the same as the end location, enter the same location in both fields.
Select a Description.
Press OK to Save.
Now this area can be assigned to the Product or the account
To set up putaway areas for Products:
Go to the Setup tab.
Select Product Details.
Then Maintain Products.
Open the product.
Go to the Location Details section.
Under the title Putaway.
Select the Site.
Now, on the right in the Areas section, find this new Area.
Press OK to Save
Set putaway areas to Account:
Go to the Setup tab.
Select Maintain Account.
Open the Account.
Go to the Location Details section.
Under the title Putaway.
Select the Site.
Now, on the right in the Areas section, find this new area.
Press OK to Save
Once done, the system will use this area as the default putaway location. However, it will be possible to overwrite this and select another location if the user desires.
