Overview

You can use the mixed pallet (MP) option on your RF scanner to receive multiple stock items on a single pallet. This is useful when you need to receive stock that wasn't on the original delivery documentation or when you're consolidating items.

Receive stock on a missed pallet

To receive stock on a missed pallet, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your RF scanner.

  2. Select your receive tasks.

  3. Click Palletised.

  4. Enter the receipt number or reference to create a blind receipt.

  5. Enter the product details as prompted:

    • Product Code

    • Hold Reference (you can leave this blank if needed)

    • Batch

    • Sell by Date (depending on the product attributes)

    • Quantity

  6. Select a pallet. AUTOID automatically creates a pallet reference, although you can enter your own reference.

  7. Don't set a receive location yet. Instead, select [MP] (Mixed Pallets) from the location section rather than [NXT] (Next).

  8. Enter the product details again for the next item. You'll see the same pallet reference assigned to this stock line, confirming the items are on the same pallet.

Add more items to the pallet

To add more items to the same pallet:

  1. Skip the receive location field again.

  2. Select [MP].

  3. Repeat the process for each additional item.

Complete the receipt

When you've added all stock items to the pallet:

  1. Enter a receive location.

  2. Click Next.

All stock items are now received on the same pallet. Once all receive tasks are complete for that receipt, you'll see confirmation that everything has been received on a single pallet.
