Use SSCC pallets
Overview
You can use SSCC pallets in Delta in two ways: book in SSCC pallets sent by your customer, or configure Delta to generate them automatically. This article explains both methods and the setup requirements.
Configure SSCC pallet generation
Before Delta can generate SSCC pallet labels, you need to configure the settings on the customer account. Your customer must provide these configuration details.
Click Setup at the top of DeltaWMS.
Click Maintain Account.
Open the relevant account.
Click SSCC pallet on the left.
Complete the five required fields:
Extension Digit – Enter the extension digit.
SSCC Prefix – Enter the SSCC prefix.
SSCC Min – Enter the minimum number of characters.
SSCC Max – Enter the maximum number of characters.
SSCC Type – Select either SSCC-14 or SSCC-18.
Click Save.
📌Note: All five fields must be populated before Delta can generate SSCC pallet labels.
Generate SSCC pallet labels in Delta
Once the account configuration is complete, you can generate SSCC pallet labels during the receiving process.
On your scanner, select Receive.
Select Palletised.
Enter the receipt number to access the tasks.
When you see Pal, type SSCC.
The system will display the text 'SSCC' on the task. Delta generates the SSCC pallet reference only when you complete and finalise the receive tasks.
📌Note: This functionality works similarly to AUTOID in picking. However, whilst AUTOID generates the new pallet reference immediately, SSCC generation occurs only after task completion.
⚠️Important: This functionality does not work with blind receipts. The pre-receipt must already exist in Delta before you can book stock in using this method.
Book in existing SSCC pallets
If your customer has already applied SSCC labels to pallets, you can book them in using the existing references. Your customer must import pre-receipts with the SSCC pallet references populated in the pallet reference fields.
On your RF device, select Receive.
Select SSCC Pallets.
Enter the goods in number.
Enter the SSCC pallet reference.
Enter the destination location to complete the task.
⚠️Important: This functionality does not work with blind receipts. The pre-receipt must already exist in Delta before you can book stock in using this method.
