Overview
You can use your RF scanner to transfer stock between locations without using pallets. This is useful when you need to move individual items quickly between storage areas.
⚠️Important: You'll need the correct site login credentials and access to the Transfer function to complete this task.
Complete an adhoc transfer
To complete an adhoc transfer using your RF scanner, follow these steps:
Log in to the RF scanner using the correct site credentials.
Select Option 2 (Select Transaction).
Select Transfer.
Select Unpalletised Transfer.
Select the account.
Add a reference number.
Type the part number.
Select the source location when prompted for ST Loc.
Select NONE when prompted for ST Pal.
Add the product.
Add the serial number if required.
Enter the requested quantity when prompted for Rq qty.
Enter the transfer quantity when prompted for Tr Qty. If stock has already been selected, the system displays the remaining available quantity. For example, if one unit is already selected and you enter 1 again, the system shows 0.0 remaining. Enter 0 to proceed with the already selected quantity.
Select NONE when prompted for To Pal.
Select the destination location when prompted for To Loc.
Select NO when asked if you wish to print a label.
Your adhoc transfer is now complete. The stock has been moved from the source location to the destination location.
