Overview
You can configure questions that appear on RF scanners during warehouse tasks such as receiving or putaway. Questions use a simple yes or no format and can be used to control task access. Follow these steps to create and apply questions to your accounts.
Create an RF scanner question
Before you can apply questions to accounts, you need to create them in Warehousing Parameters.
In the Home tab, click Warehousing Parameters.
In the left-hand menu, click Questions.
Click the + button on the right-hand side.
Type your question, then click OK.
Apply questions to an account
Once you've created your questions, you can apply them to specific accounts and task types.
Click the Setup tab.
Click Maintain Accounts.
In the Account Code box, type the account code, then press Tab on your keyboard to find the account.
In the left-hand menu, click Questions.
Click the + button on the right-hand side.
Select the task type from the dropdown list (for example, Receive or Putaway).
Select your question from the list.
Click OK.
What happens next
When operators use RF scanners and enter a task you've applied a question to, the question appears on screen. If they answer no, the system prevents them from accessing the task.
