Overview
If you see the error 'Fatal Error: No License information found, or RSA encryption not installed (.net 2/4)' when logging into DeltaWMS, this is usually caused by missing .NET Framework components in Windows Features. This article explains how to check your .NET installation and what to do if the issue persists.
⚠️Important: This article applies to Access-hosted DeltaWMS clients only.
Check your .NET Framework installation
The error occurs when .NET 3.5 or later isn't installed in Windows Features. You'll need to check your Windows Features settings to resolve this.
⚠️Important: You'll need administrator permissions on your machine to access Windows Features.
To check your .NET Framework installation:
Open Windows Features on your machine.
Check if .NET 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and later (including 4.8) are installed.
If the checkbox next to any .NET version is empty or partially filled, select it to enable the feature.
If all .NET versions show as installed with a filled black checkbox, restart your machine.
Install missing .NET components
If you find that .NET 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 or later versions aren't installed, you'll need to install them through Windows Features.
⚠️Important: You'll need to contact your internal IT team to install .NET Framework components. Delta Support doesn't provide assistance with .NET installation, as this requires system-level access and expertise specific to your internal IT environment.
Your internal IT team will be able to install the required .NET versions through Windows Features or Windows Server Manager, depending on your operating system.
