Overview
If you get a short pick message, this is the system saying it cannot find all of the stock available for these products. If you press ‘Quit’, this will cancel the pick. If you press ‘Resume’, if you have the rights to, you will create the pick, and the tasks will get created for all of the stock the system can find.
If none of this stock is available in the DeltaWMS warehouse map, the system cannot create picking tasks for these products. You can run further checks via the steps below.
Check product availability in the warehouse map
1. Click the 3 dots at the top of the map.
2. Enter the product code and Click OK.
3. The number of item files at the top of Delta will show how much stock you have of this product
4. If you right-click this, this will show you how much of this product is available.
If this is the case, you will either need to bring in more of this product or short pick the order.
Check if stock is on hold
Open the order.
Look at the ‘product’ tab on the order.
This could show a hold reference on one of the stock lines.
Look at all of the stock for this product, see if there is that same hold reference on this stock with a quantity to match.
If there is not, there are 2 ways to get this stock into picking.
Put the number of items required on hold, with the same hold reference.
Go into the order, open the product tab and remove the text in the hold reference field, then press OK to save.
When you send the order into picking after doing one of the 2 above, the order will go into picking fine.
