Overview
When you're picking stock in DeltaWMS, you might see the message 'Generate a task for the remainder? Press [No] to suspend the task on your RF gun. This article explains what causes this message and how to respond.
Why this message appears
You'll see this message when you short-pick an item. Short-picking means you've picked fewer items than the task requires.
What happens when you respond
When you see the 'Generate a task for the remainder' message, you have two options:
Select Yes
If you select Yes, DeltaWMS creates a new task for the remaining stock. This new task will be for the same product and location as the original task.
Select No
If you select No, DeltaWMS suspends the current task.
When a task is suspended:
A DeltaWMS administrator needs to make the task active again.
Only RF users with short-pick permissions can complete the suspended task.
