Create a new order type

Overview

You can create custom order types to categorise and manage different types of orders in your warehouse. This guide shows you how to add a new order type and configure its settings.


Create your order type

To create a new order type, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to DeltaWMS.

  2. Open the Maintain Accounts screen.

  3. Select your account code.

  4. Click Order Type (bottom right).

  5. Enter your order type code.

  6. Click Yes when prompted to create the new order type.

  7. Set the system area.

  8. Set the order priority, if required.

  9. Set the back order option, if required.

  10. Set the allow over dispatch option, if required.

  11. Click OK.

Your new order type is now created and ready to use.
