Overview
DeltaWMS includes functionality for managing rolls through the Product Maintenance section. This article explains the available options and how partial quantities work in the system.
Access roll management settings
You can configure roll management settings in the Maintain Product section under Product Maintenance.
The system provides these options:
Control by – includes a Partial Qty option.
Stock Attributes – includes Roll Length, Roll Product Info, and Length options.
Understand partial quantities
In DeltaWMS, Partial Qty is treated as Weight but can represent a quantity of your choice, such as metres. The system stores partial quantity as a decimal value in the data.

Test the functionality
The attributes listed appear to be prompted through the front end rather than through RF.
Before implementing roll management in your system, you should run tests based on your specific requirements. This helps you understand how the functionality runs and ensures it meets your needs before making any commitments.
