Overview

The issue is that the barcode scanned will most likely be the same as a pallet reference that exists in the system.

How does this work?

The process this works by is that it will see if the reference input in matches one of the following:

  • Goods Out Order Reference (Where the order is in ‘RF picked’ status)

  • Pallet Reference

  • Product Code

  • Barcode

  • Alternative Product Code

If it finds one in any of the sections above, this will stop and not look any further.

When a barcode is scanned in. This will look in section 1 (above) and not find anything. But then it will look for the pallet with that Reference in section 2, which will find a pallet Reference before. At this point, it will stop looking for the Product code (3), Barcode (4) and the Alternative Product Code (5). It will look for all orders with the pallet reference. As there are no active orders with these pallet references, this will not find any and show the message: No order details found for this media.

To resolve this issue, Support will need to run some scripts on the database. Therefore, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article, and please include details of the barcode being scanned.
