Create Haulier codes

Steps to create and configure Haulier codes for couriers in DeltaWMS.

Overview

You can create Haulier codes to manage your courier and delivery companies within the system. This article explains how to set up a new Haulier code and configure the required settings.

Create a Haulier code

To create a Haulier code, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Setup tab.

  2. Click Hauliers. (The purple lorry icon between Supplier Maintenance and Pallet Types.)

  3. In the Haulier Code field, type your chosen code, then press Tab.

  4. When prompted, click Yes to create the Haulier.

  5. Complete all mandatory fields. (Yellow boxes.)

🤓Tip: The Haulier code can contain up to eight characters. You may find it easier to use the first letters of the Haulier name. For example, if your Haulier name is DHL Parcel, you could use the code DHL PARC.

📌Note: You can view an existing Haulier code to see which settings are used, then create your new code using the same configuration.
