Overview
You can add commodity codes and country of origin information to products in DeltaWMS. This guide shows you how to create new commodity codes and assign them to your products.
Create a commodity code
Before assigning a commodity code to a product, you need to create it in the system.
To create a commodity code, follow these steps:
Click the Setup tab, then click Products.
Click Maintain Products.
Click the Customs tab.
Next to Commodity Codes, click the Magnifying Glass icon, then click New.
Type the new commodity code.
Click the Commodity Description field. You'll see a message asking if you want to create a new commodity code.
Click Yes.
Type the commodity description.
Click OK. You'll see 'Commodity has been added successfully'.
Click OK.
Your commodity code is now created and ready to assign to products.
🤓Tip: You can create multiple commodity codes by repeating steps 4 to 10 for each code before assigning them to products.
