Overview

When you export documents containing barcodes from DeltaWMS to PDF format, the barcodes may appear smaller than expected. This is a known issue with Adobe PDF rendering. You can resolve this by updating a registry setting on your server. You'll need to work with your IT team to complete this fix, as it requires server-level access.

Resolve the barcode sizing issue

This issue occurs due to how Adobe processes fonts during PDF export. The solution requires a registry change on your server.

⚠️Important: You'll need administrator access to your server registry to complete these steps. Contact your IT team to progress this fix.

Apply the registry fix

Your IT team will need to enable the 'ForceLargerFonts' registry setting on your server. This setting ensures barcodes export at the correct size when converting to PDF format.

πŸ“ŒNote: The registry setting may exist in multiple locations. Your IT team should check all possible registry paths to ensure complete resolution.

Find detailed fix instructions

SAP and Adobe provide detailed documentation for this known issue. Share these resources with your IT team:

Verify the fix

Once your IT team enables the 'ForceLargerFonts' registry setting, export a document containing barcodes to PDF. The barcodes will now appear at the correct size.
