Overview
The optimise for pick option will change how the system prioritises pallets when creating pick lists and advising pallets for dispatch.
How does it work?
When Optimise for pick is turned on, the system will attempt to take a full pallet as close to the specified amount on the order as possible and then pick the rest from another available pallet.
For example, if you require 100 items and there are two pallets available with 90 each. The system will pick a full pallet of 90 and then take 10 items from the other pallet rather than taking 50 items from both.
β
This setting will override the use of pickfaces and sell-by dates.
How do I turn Optimise for pick on/off?
βThis option can be toggled on/off per product by following the steps below:
Open the Product Maintenance screen via the Setup tab
Enter the Product Code that you wish to change
On the Product Maintenance tab (Default screen when opening this window) there is a tick box for Optimise For Pick.
Tick/Untick this as required
Optimise for pick will now be turned on or off.
