Overview

DeltaWMS doesn't currently support an automated secondary scan feature for pallet verification before loading. However, you can implement manual verification processes to ensure the correct pallets are picked and loaded onto trailers.

Set up a manual verification process

To reduce picking errors and ensure the correct pallets are loaded, establish an internal verification process using your existing DeltaWMS features.

Use pick notes for verification

You can use pick notes to add a verification checkpoint:

  • Add clear instructions on pick notes requiring the despatch user to verify pallet details before loading.

  • Include specific pallet identifiers or product codes that must be checked.

  • Require the despatch user to sign off on the pick note once verification is complete.

Implement a double-check system

You can also ask pickers to verify their own work:

  • Require the picker to review the completed pick against the pick list before moving pallets to the despatch area.

  • Add a final verification step where the despatch user physically checks each pallet against the pick documentation before loading.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: These manual processes require clear communication and training with your warehouse team to ensure consistent application.

โš ๏ธImportant: DeltaWMS doesn't currently support automated secondary scanning during the loading process. Manual verification processes are your best option for preventing incorrect pallets being loaded.
