Why is my stock stuck in RCV status? Stock is stuck in RCV status. How do I make this available?

Overview

When stock is stuck in RCV status, this means that the stock is stuck in Received status, and this would indicate the receipt hasn't been finalised. This article will guide you through the steps on how to resolve this.


To resolve this, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Task Pool then change the Task Type filter to Receive.

  2. In the Transaction column, enter the receipt number.


How do I finalise the receipt on an RF gun?

The steps above will show the received tasks in complete status. This means the receipt needs to be finalised on the handheld device. Follow the steps below.

To do this:

  1. Log in to the hand held device then navigate to Select Transaction - Receive.

  2. Enter the receipt number then click OK once in receive tasks.

  3. Click F2 then click Yes to close the receipt.

  4. Click Yes to finalise the receipt.

The receipt can now be put away through the confirm goods putaway screen.

To do this:

  1. Click Confirm Goods Putaway then amend the good intype to either GI or RT.

  2. Click the magnifying glass to find the receipt number then click OK.
