Overview
If you're trying to upload your DeltaWMS licence and the Upload Licence button appears greyed out, this means you don't currently have administrator privileges. Only onsite Delta Administrators can upload licence files. This article explains how to resolve this issue.
Get administrator access
You'll need to contact your on-site Delta Administrator and ask them to either:
Upload the licence file for you, or
Grant you administrator privileges so you can upload the file yourself.
Once an on-site Delta Administrator logs in, the Upload Licence button will become available.
Grant administrator privileges
If you have the permissions to grant administrator privileges, you can give yourself or another user the right to upload license files.
To grant administrator privileges, follow these steps:
Log in to Delta.
Click the User Maintenance tab.
Click Maintain Operators.
Select your User Code (shown as a red figure on the left).
Select the Administrator checkbox on the right.
Click OK.
Log out of Delta, then log back in.
The user will now be able to upload the licence file.
πNote: Rest assured, Support now has a way of monitoring when the DeltaWMS license is due to expire to take the stress away and to avoid you losing access to your DeltaWMS application.
