How do I create new Delta WMS User?

Overview

You can add a new DeltaWMS user just by following these steps below.

  1. In DeltaWMS, open User Maintenance.

  2. Click Maintain Operators, which loads the first user alphabetically.

  3. Empty the user code field and type in the new user code to be created.

  4. Click off this field, and a message saying "User does not exist. Would you like to create it?" will appear,

  5. Click Yes to this message.

  6. Select a menu profile, which will determine which menu options users have access to.

  7. Type in the new user's username, a password (in both password and confirm).

  8. It's also possible to enter a default site/account and fix the user to these, make them an administrator and give them the ability to override security.

  9. Make sure "Advanced GI/GO" is ticked and click OK or apply (OK will close the window, apply leaves it open).

  10. Click "Yes" to confirm, and the user will be created.

This will be confirmed by the message "New user was successfully added".
