Overview
Adding new locations to your Warehouse Map is a great way to keep your Warehouse in working order. In order to add a new location, this can be done by following these steps:
Open DeltaWMS.
Open the Warehouse Map
Check to see what locations are currently set up and see where there is space on the map.
Select the Setup tab in the top ribbon of Delta.
Click the Locations button to open a sub-menu.
Within this menu, click Maintain Locations.
In the ’Maintain Locations’ window that pops up as a result, enter the Site you want to add this to
Fill out the details of the new locations you wish to create.
For example, I want to create 5 rows starting on the aisle AB and AC, with 5 columns. To do this, I would:
Set the Aisle to: First: AB, Last: AC
Set the Column to: First: 1, Last: 5
Set the Row to: First: A, Last: E
9. If you want to make the location available straight away, make sure Available option is ticked.
10. Press OK to create the location
11. It will ask you if you want to create the location. Say Yes if you are.
12. Press OK again.
13. This will say it has been successful.
14. If you close the map down and re-open this, this will refresh the map
This will then show the new location(s) created.
