If stock quantities in Mintsoft don't match what's in Delta, there are several common causes to check before raising a support case. This article covers the most frequent reasons and what to do about each one.
Check 1: The Infinite Stock setting is enabled
If the Infinite Stock setting is enabled on the account in Delta, the integration will not send real stock quantities to Mintsoft. Mintsoft will either show incorrect figures or stop syncing correctly.
To check and disable it:
In DeltaWMS, go to Setup → Maintain Accounts.
Open the relevant account.
Go to Client Details.
Check whether Infinite Stock is enabled.
If it is, disable it and run a stock sync to allow real quantities to flow through.
⚠️ Important: Disabling Infinite Stock will change what Mintsoft shows for all products on that account. Confirm this is intended before making the change.
Check 2: The site is missing or not configured in Mintsoft
The stock sync is site-specific. If a site exists in Delta but hasn't been added to the account in Mintsoft, stock on that site will not appear in Mintsoft at all.
To resolve this, the site needs to be added to the account in Mintsoft and set correctly:
The site must be set to Active.
The Import stock levels option must be enabled.
Once added, run a manual stock sync and extend the lookback window (see Check 3 below) if the site hasn't had recent activity.
📌 Note: If a site was recently merged or renamed in Delta, the integration may still be referencing the old site name. Contact support if you suspect this is the case.
Check 3: Products haven't had activity within the sync lookback window
The Mintsoft integration only syncs stock for products that have had a transaction in Delta within the last 2 weeks (336 hours by default). If a product hasn't moved in that time, its stock level will not be sent to Mintsoft — even if Delta shows a quantity.
This is most commonly seen when:
A product shows stock in Delta but zero in Mintsoft.
A product shows stock in Mintsoft but zero in Delta (stale data from a previous sync).
Stock disappears from Mintsoft after a period of no warehouse activity.
If this is affecting your account, contact support and request that the lookback window be temporarily extended to backfill the affected products. Support will revert it to 2 weeks after the sync completes to maintain integration performance.
Check 4: Stock is on hold in Delta
By default, stock with a hold reference in Delta is excluded from the quantity sent to Mintsoft — even if the stock status shows as available (AVL). If Mintsoft is showing less stock than expected, check whether lines are on hold in Delta.
To check for held stock:
In DeltaWMS, navigate to the relevant account and product.
Check the stock lines for any Hold Reference values.
If lines should not be on hold, remove the hold reference and run a sync.
📌 Note: Some accounts are configured with custom rules that treat certain hold references differently. For example, an account may be set up so that held stock with a specific reference is still included in the Mintsoft sync. If you believe your account has custom hold reference rules, contact support before making changes.
Check 5: Custom account grouping is affecting stock visibility
Some accounts are configured with a custom Mintsoft integration that groups stock from multiple Delta accounts together. If your account uses this setup, stock from a related account may affect what Mintsoft displays — or stock may not appear as expected if the grouping logic doesn't account for all account codes.
This is not a self-service fix. If you suspect custom account grouping is the cause, contact support with the affected account codes and product examples.
What to do next
If you've worked through the checks above and the issue is not resolved, raise a support case and include:
The affected account code(s)
Example product code(s) showing the discrepancy
What Delta shows vs what Mintsoft shows
The site code(s) involved
Whether the products have had any recent activity in Delta
